Race Tip of The Week:  Last race of the series, HAVE FUN

Well it’s been a great summer, but all good things must come to an end L  This week’s course will be a carbon copy of Week 2’s course, our first race.  Comparing the lap times will determine our most improved rider.

We will be calculating the winners on the fly and have our series winners awarded at Tuesdays potluck awards party that night.  In the event of a podium position tie we will have a single lap race off on the kids course.

As I mentioned we will be having a Potluck Awards Party after the event please help us out, Berkshire Bike and Board will be providing all the meats, but we need sides and deserts.  If your last name is an A-M please bring a side, if it is N-Z please bring a desert (or bring anything you want).  We also need Tables chairs so please bring extras if you can.

We will also be pulling the raffle tickets, you must be present to win.  Giant Bicycles came through big time with $600.00  worth of swag (including a kids bike) in addition to what you have seen on the table this season.

THANK YOU EVERYONE who donated last week, we raised a good amount of money to repay the BCA for their loan this year, one more night like that and I think they will be satisfied with the amount repaid and secure the future of the race next year.  Please don’t stop donating, give generously, if you don’t have cash on you can write a check made payable directly to the Berkshire Cycling Association, or go to our web site,, and donate via Paypal.

Weather: Looking FABULOUS for our last week

Tuesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 58. South wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.
